National Tourism Award for Top Travel and Tours
Top Travel & Tours has won the prestigious National Tourism Award 2012-13 for excellence in inbound tourism. Our Managing Director, Mr. Rajendra Kumar Mathur and Director, Mr. Chand Narayan Mathur received the award from Minister of State for Human Resources Development Dr. Shashi Tharoor at a function held in Vijgyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
We are proud to receive our Seventh National Tourism Award and hope to receive many more with the persistent services to our guests.
Kerala Tourism wins ‘Golden City Gate’ award at ITB Berlin
Kerala Tourism is on a winning spree. At ITB Berlin, Kerala has won the ‘Golden City Gate’ award, the gold prize at ITB Berlin for its print campaign on The Great Backwaters.
The Kerala Backwaters are a unique network of beautiful waterways that define the concept of eco tourism in the state. A part of Kerala’s lifestyle, backwater is also a popular way of experiencing serenity aboard a houseboat, also known as Kettuvallam.
This award is considered as the ultimate recognition in global tourism communication. This is the second major international award for Kerala tourism in the last two months. We congratulate Kerala Tourism for this prestigious honour and wish that the department of tourism achieves success in present and future tourism initiatives.

Tulip Festival, Kashmir – Flowers always brings up our soft and gentle side. Tulip Festival in Kashmir valley celebrates the blooming of tulips, in colours like red, yellow, orange, pink, white, light blue, magenta and the list continues. Celebrated for the 15 days in the beginning of April, the special festival highlights the time when the bright and vibrant tulips are in full bloom that presents the valley at its colourful best. Tourists in summer season can spot around 60 varieties of tulips cultivated at a stretch of over 5 hectares of land.
Baisakhi – The festival of Baisakhi is the official harvest festival celebrated in farmlands of India. The festivities here include dancing, singing, dressing in finery, witnessing wrestling bouts and enjoying the food preparations. Every year, the festival of Baisakhi falls on April 13.
