South India Secrets Tour

The middle of this tour transports a tourist to the many worlds of Karnataka, famous for its heritage in form of temple cities of Belur, Halebid, sensory Mysore and Queen of Hills, Ooty. Towards the end of South India Secrets Tour, one gets a chance to explore the mysteries of God's own country through a backwater cruise on Kumarakom and Alleppey stretch, sightseeing of Cochin, relaxing on Kovalam beach and exploring the heritage of Trivandrum.

Day 01 : Arrive Chennai

Arrive Chennai in the morning, later proceed for the sightseeing which includes, Kapaleeshwar temple, Parthasarathy temple, Government museum, St. Thome cathedral in the evening visit Marina Beach over night stay at Chennai

Day 02 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram (140 Kms / 03 Hrs drive)

Check out from the hotel and drive to Kanchipuram to visit Varadharaja Perumal temple, Kailasanatha Swami temple and view some silk viewing factories further drive to Mahabalipuram to visit Arjuna Penance, Five Rathas, Krishna's Butter Ball and rest of the day enjoy the tides at Beach. Stay over night at Mahabalipuram

Day 03 : Mahabalipuram - Chennai - Bangalore (By Train)

Today leave for Chennai in the morning to catch train to Bangalore, over night in the train

Day 04 : Bangalore - Hassan (200Kms/ 05 Hrs drive)

Arrive Bangalore in the morning, after fresh up visit La Bagh, Vidhan Sowdha and Tippu Palace and later drive to Hassan to stay over night

Day 05 : Hassan - Belur - Halebid - Hassan (100Kms /2.5 Hrs drive)

Today start visiting the architectural wonders of Hoysala Kingdom. You can visit Chennakesava temple and other architectural monuments at these places, stay over night at Hassan.

Day 06 : Hassan - Mysore (150 Kms / 04 Hrs drive)

Check out from the hotel and drive to Mysore to visit Maharaja Palace, Chamundi hills and in the evening you can see the lighting of the Palace and stay over night at Mysore.

Day 07 : Mysore - Bandipur - Ooty (160 Kms / 04 hrs drive)

Drive to Ooty enroute you can visit Bandipur national park and further drive to Ooty for the night stay

Day 08 : Ooty

Today you will visit the Botanical Garden, Dodda Betta Peak, SIM's park and Dolphin nose and the in the evening you may go for the boating in the lake (Optional) stay over night at Ooty

Day 09 : Ooty - Coonoor- Ooty (30 Kms / 45 minutes drive)

Today you can enjoy the Toy train ride from Ooty to Coonoor and visit the market at Coonoor and back to Ooty for a night stay.

Day 10 : Ooty - Cochin (300Kms / 08 Hrs drive)

Today you can see the dance of Kerala "Kathakali" or you may go for the sunset cruise (Optional) over night stay at Cochin

Day 11 : Cochin

After breakfast leave for the visit of St. Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Friday and Saturday) Mattancheri Palace and Chinese Fishing nets, you may go for the sunset Cruise (Optional) and stay over night at Cochin

Day 12 : Cochin - Kumarakom (80kms / 02 Hrs drive)

Check out from the hotel and drive to Kumarakom to board your houseboat to enjoy unlimited surfing on the backwaters of Kerala and you can explore the rural life of the country side people and stay on board over night.

Day 13 : Alleppey - Kovalam (180 Kms / 05 Hrs drive)

Disembark from the houseboat and drive to Kovalam, rest of the day is at leisure in the renowned beach stay over night at Kovalam

Day 14 : Kovalam - Trivandrum - Kovalam

Today you can visit Sri Padhmanaba Swami temple, Kuthira Maliga, Napier museum and Art Gallery. Stay over night at Kovalam

Day 15 : Kovalam

Today is leisure to do your own activity and relax at the beach, stay over night at Kovalam

Day 16 : Kovalam - Trivandrum Depart

Transfer to Airport to connect onward flight.
